Learn more about Zambian ARTS Publishing House’s terms and conditions for book printing. Please read, understand, and accept these terms before submitting your manuscript(s) or making any payment, as doing so will be considered an implied acceptance of the terms.

1. Printing is Optional
   Printing services are offered separately from the publishing packages. Authors may choose whether or not to request printed copies after their book has been published.
2. Printing Costs
   Printing costs are not included in any publishing package. They are calculated separately. Use the inbuilt system to calculate how much your book will cost to print.
3. Full Payment Before Printing
   All printing work commences only after the author has made full payment for the agreed printing costs. No printing will proceed without cleared payment.
4. Minimum Printing Order
   The minimum number of copies that can be ordered in a single print run is 10 copies.
5. Turnaround Time
   Printing and binding usually take between 7 to 14 working days after full payment is received, depending on the quantity ordered.
6. Changes After Payment
   Once printing has started, no further changes can be made to the manuscript, cover, or any design elements. Authors must confirm and approve the final files before printing begins.
7. Collection or Delivery
   Authors may collect their printed books from the Lusaka printing office. Alternatively, delivery can be arranged to the author’s chosen location at the author’s own cost.
8. Damages and Reprints
   Zambian ARTS Publishing House maintains strict quality control. In the event of major printing defects caused during production, the company will consider reprinting at no extra cost after an internal review. Minor variations, such as slight color or trimming differences, are normal in the printing process and do not qualify for a reprint.
9. Ownership of Printed Copies
   Once printing is completed, all printed copies fully belong to the author. Zambian ARTS Publishing House will not claim any rights over the printed copies unless a separate agreement is made for marketing, bookstore stock, or exhibitions.
10. Printing for External Authors
    Zambian ARTS Publishing House also provides printing services for books published under other publishing houses. In such cases, Zambian ARTS Publishing House does not claim any publishing rights, ownership, or affiliation with the book’s publishing details. The rights remain fully with the original publisher and author.
