Customer Terms and Conditions – Zambian ARTS Bookstore

Welcome to the Zambian ARTS Bookstore! These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of books through our platform. By placing an order, you agree to comply with the following:

1. Types of Products

We offer two categories of books:

  • eBooks (Digital Books) – These are downloadable immediately after successful payment.

  • Hardcopies (Physical Books) – These require delivery and coordination with the vending author.

2. Order Processing and Delivery
  • eBooks: Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a download link directly on the website and/or via email. Delivery is instant.

  • Hardcopies: After placing your order, the vending author will contact you to arrange for delivery. Please ensure your contact details are correct to facilitate communication.

  • Delivery Timeline: Hardcopies will be delivered within 1 to 4 working days. If a delay occurs, Zambian ARTS will step in to ensure you receive your order.

3. Communication with Vending Authors
  • Vending authors are responsible for contacting you directly to confirm delivery details of hardcopy purchases.

  • Communication will be made through the contact details you provide (phone or email).

  • Failure to respond promptly may delay your delivery.

4. Delays and Escalations
  • If you do not receive your hardcopy within the stipulated duration, please notify Zambian ARTS through our contact page or support email.

  • We will engage the vending author and take necessary steps to resolve the issue promptly.

5. Returns and Refunds
  • eBooks: All eBook sales are final and non-refundable due to their digital nature.

  • Hardcopies: Returns or refunds are only available for:

    • Damaged items

    • Items not delivered within a reasonable time and after a failed resolution attempt

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase.

6. Customer Obligations
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during checkout, including:

    • Full name

    • Delivery address

    • Valid phone number and/or email

  • You are responsible for being available for communication and delivery coordination with the author.

7. Privacy and Data Use
  • Zambian ARTS respects your privacy. Your personal information is collected only to:

    • Process your order

    • Facilitate communication and delivery

  • We share your information only with the vending author responsible for fulfilling your hardcopy order.

  • Your data will never be sold or misused.

8. Dispute Resolution
  • In the event of a dispute or unresolved issue with a vending author, Zambian ARTS will act as a mediator to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Our goal is to make sure you receive the book you’ve paid for—promptly and in good condition

9. Payments
  • All payments for books purchased on the Zambian ARTS Bookstore are processed through trusted third-party payment gateways.

  • We accept various payment methods including mobile money services such as MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, and Zamtel.

  • Please note that transaction fees may apply depending on your payment provider. Kindly consult your mobile money provider to understand applicable charges.

10. Payment Failures or Processing Errors
  • In rare cases, a payment may be deducted but the order may fail to process or redirect correctly.

  • If this occurs, do not worry — simply contact our support team with your payment reference number, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

  • Zambian ARTS is committed to ensuring that no customer loses money due to technical payment issues.
